Fire Station 1 is getting a new home. Property has been bought (about 2 acres) and drawings are being made.The new station is to be at the intersection of Hwy 17/3rd street and Ave G sw.The new station wll house operations, administration and maintanance in separate bldgs. The new station should be open by Nov 09.Stay tuned for more.

We would like to extend a special thanks to our friends at Wal-Mart and the Wal-Mart Distribution center. Over the years they have donated thousands of dollars in both money, food and drinks, for special events and also day to day operations.

We are defenders from fires of the art which has beautified the world, the product of the genius of men and the means of refinement of mankind. But, above all, our proudest endeavor is to save lives of men - and the work of God Himself. Under the impulse of such thoughts, the nobility of the occupation thrills us and stimulates us to deeds of daring, even of supreme sacrifice. Such considerations may not strike the average mind, but they are sufficient to fill to the limit are ambition and life and to make us serve the general purpose of human society."
